Extending Christ’s Global Reach

Through our collective generosity and faithful prayers, TCCI extends the transformative message of salvation beyond Tavira to touch lives across India, Lisbon’s immigrant communities, and throughout Mozambique.

Mission Overview

The concept of “Mission” has evolved throughout church history, sometimes diluting its original powerful mandate to carry Christ’s transformative message to all corners of the earth. Jesus’ unequivocal command to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” set His early disciples on a path of radical obedience that led to both widespread persecution and the miraculous salvation of countless souls who were liberated from sin’s captivity.

The timeless message of salvation through Jesus Christ remains unchanged in our modern world, compelling us at Tavira Christian Centre International to strategically support missionaries who faithfully proclaim this truth in today’s most challenging environments. Our fellowship directs resources specifically toward those serving in regions where Christians face severe persecution, countries closed to traditional evangelism, and communities devastated by human trafficking and child exploitation—bringing hope to many who have never before heard the name of Jesus Christ.

Through our tithes and offerings, we participate in this global work of discipleship and spiritual transformation, seeing new believers raised up even in the darkest spiritual landscapes.

The Missionaries We Support

We currently support 3 ministries:

  • Lana in India is the leader of a ministry team that serves the poor in red light areas. Please pray for their team’s health and strength. Lana particularly asks that we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of those they speak to on a daily basis and for repentance and salvation among those people.

  • Kayio, Natasha, and their little daughter Hadassah serve with the IRIS Lisbon team in the African immigrant slums and in Roma camps.

  • Mark and Les have been serving in Mozambique for over 30 years. Their ministry includes leading children’s homes for orphans, helping communities affected by natural disasters, providing support to persecuted churches in the North of the country, and facilitating the production and distribution of audio Bibles and missions training materials to unreached people groups in their own languages.
